Mayong Cultural Walk的点评
点评：We found this place randomly on our way back home from the bee farm, and we’re so happy that we did!
We’ve seen a lot in Bali, but this was the best experience we’ve had. It wasn’t just a regular rice terrace tour. With Putu, we also had the chance to get closer to the local culture .. the spiritual side, how local people live, and what principles they follow. You can even ask about politics, history… and it always turned into a nice and informative conversation. You’ll get to see the fruit and herbs close, as Putu carries them in his backpack. The whole business is dedicated to supporting the local farmers whose land the tour takes place on, so they get their share. At the end, you’ll meet the rest of the family. Rita, Putu’s wife, prepared us an excellent five course meal. Forget Nasi Goreng, here you unlock a whole new level of Balinese food, and the amazing views are just another bonus. The family also has a lovely homestay, if we’d been looking for a place to stay, we would have stayed there!
And if you’d like the cherry on top, there’s even a chance to get a massage from an experienced, lovely lady!
Please, do yourself a favour and go experience all of this for yourself. You won’t regret it.
