Not as good as before!

点评：Having been to this property numerous times in the past,I was disappointed today at the decline in the overall presentation of things.
The house tour took very little time as there were only a few areas available, much less than previous visits. There was very little furniture and it just seemed a bit lacklustre. The ornamental gardens used to have a wow factor when you looked out from the hall, beautiful colours,tidy edges etc,but this time just looked very shabby,very little colour at all.
The church wasnt open,which was disappointing as it used to be my favourite part.
The walks were lovely as usual and it looked like they'd been extended but some areas were quite unsafe because moles have ravaged the ground making it unsafe under foot. The car park was even worse and would recommend sturdy,supportive boots to prevent turning an ankle.
Ive just rejoined the NT and hope the decline of this property isn't indicative of a decline across all properties.
