A Fantastic Family Beach Day – Lively Labor Day Experience

点评：My close relative drove all the way from Baltimore, and visiting this beach was a must-do activity on our travel itinerary. Although it was quite crowded because of the Labor Day holiday weekend, the cloudy weather kept the temperature comfortable and made our visit more enjoyable.
My family members had a wonderful time swimming and playing in the sand, while I especially enjoyed walking barefoot along the beach and taking in the coastal atmosphere. Water was clean and clear.
There is no admission fee, but finding a parking space was challenging because of the holiday crowd. Paying for parking by scanning the QR code also took more time than expected. Because of the crowd and weather conditions, we spent less time at the beach than originally planned.
The beach atmosphere felt almost like a “Mela” or “Jatra”—Nepali words describing a lively fair or festival filled with lots of people and activity. Because of the Labor Day celebration, the pier area also had a DJ playing music, which we enjoyed while having our homemade Khaja (Nepali-style snacks).
Before leaving, we found a less crowded area where we could rinse the sand from our feet and body, which was very convenient and helped us keep the car sand-free!
Overall, it was a fantastic family day and a memorable experience for our guests. In my view, this is one of the enjoyable beach destinations along the eastern coast of the United States.
If you are visiting the area, put this beach on your itinerary, enjoy the ocean, walk barefoot along the shore, and create some wonderful family memories just as we did
