点评:We took the factory tour and, of course, the sales pitch. 🙂
Somehow, we believed we were buying genuine perfumes with 25% perfume oil, just as the guide proudly explained.
Looking back, we should have paid attention to three things:
There were no workers and no production taking place in the factory—only salespeople.
The fragrance on the test strips was surprisingly weak, even immediately after being sprayed.
Our tour representatives received complimentary gifts from the factory.
The result?
Once we got home, we discovered that the fragrance disappeared after 30 minutes at most—far from the guide's promise that 3–4 drops would last all day.
Because Fragonard is a company with more than 100 years of history, I assumed this couldn't possibly reflect the company's standards. I thought perhaps we had simply encountered an internal issue or poor quality control and staff taking advantage.
So I contacted the company, provided all the requested information, including photos and proof of purchase.
Their response: "Everything is correct. The reason may be the way your skin perceives the fragrance"
An interesting explanation, especially considering that the same thing happened to everyone in our group who bought:)
