点评：I booked the 4 day Indoor to Outdoor Rock Climbing Course for my Son as a birthday present.
I e-mailed them first to give details of my son’s climbing experience and to get some idea if it would be suited to him. The response from the team was great, and gave me the confidence this was right for him.
The feedback from my Son was very positive, with great feedback on the party leaders (he had 3 different guides for the 4 days). He was extremely lucky with the first two days having 1:2 ratio, and day 3 & 4 having a ratio of 1:3, so plenty of time on the rock face.
I would say it does really help if you have some experience of lead climbing before attending, just to get the most out of the course.
You definitely get your monies worth, each day was a meet at the hub between 09:00 and 09:30, and they were at the climb site before 10:00, and do not return until 16:30 and 17:00, my lads last day they didn’t get back until 18:30 from an 08:45 meet time (long day).
Feedback from my Son was it was some of the best outdoor climbing he has ever experienced. Only downside was it took place during the July heatwave, plenty of suncream and gallons of water needed.
My son had his own trad gear, but that wasn’t a worry as they have plenty of equipment if you do t have it, but you get an opportunity to use your own rack if you have it.
Would highly recommend both the company and the course.
