Château de Terre Neuve的点评
点评：Such a beautiful chateau which has been maintained very well. We attended the tour for approx 45 mins, walked around the gardens, ate ice creams and generally enjoyed the beauty.
One thing to note is the tour is in French only and as we are English new to the French language, we unfortunately didn’t understand the tour guide most of the time. However… She spoke to us regularly in English to keep us somewhat in the loop, and this was not expected but really appreciated. You are offered a QR code which opens up a website on your phone, which lists & breaks down each room in order of the tour, and a description of what is being spoken about, so you do feel included. This is a just a heads up for those who expect an English tour and would be disappointed (I personally don’t think you should expect this in a French speaking country).
The family still live within the estate so you are only able to access downstairs, however this was still brilliant and in fact it kept the tour shorter, again better for us who didn’t understand the language as well.
Big praise to our tour guide, she was so interesting and knowledgeable about the chateau, and we will recommend it!
