点评:People seem to love Pindarie from what we hear and we ‘get’ why the setting is attractive and a bit fun, if you want the ‘haystack photo’! ….and maybe its a bit more atmospheric if you can sit outside on the verandah (as we’ve done before) or down under the tree, but if you are sitting inside don’t expect any charm. Our experience on this second and last time - interior, service, food, wine, everything - was unfortunately lack lustre.
The decent Shiraz was $30 a glass (very happy to pay that if it’s nice) but did not come close to impressing anyone!
The platter contained two long soggy microwaved bread sticks and not a skerrick of anything green on it other than a few green olives. For the price of $70, it was very amateur looking - or was it just that we could even SEE the microwaves heating up the bread and pies from where we were seated!!!!!???? At least hide them out of full public view!! The figs on the platter were really the nicest part. Yikes!
The two pies (at $35 each - astonishing!!!) didn’t excite anyone, least of all the fact they weren’t that full of filling, weren’t crunchy and had side salads topped with too much dressing that made the greenery ‘sodden’ after a few minutes after being delivered to the table.
All very surprising.
