Fantastic experience to see Denaldi and the park up close. Our pilot was an expert both in flying ability and knowledge of the landscape. Landing and taking off from an actual glacier was amazing. I felt like I was in an Indiana Jones movie (all I lacked was the hat!)
The duration of the visit was just right, including the 20 minute glacier visit. The plane traveled about 180 mph and we covered almost 200 miles. The fee was a bit on the high side but worth every penny (these old tail dragger plans cost money to operate and maintain.) Our group was perfect in size, on 7 of us. We had headphones to eliminate noise and to hear the pilot guide and radio chatter. The pilot and ground crew were all highly trained, pleasant and very helpful.
