Interesting museum found within the Residence Castle

点评：The Teutonic Order Museum (Deutschordensmuseum) is found within the Residence Castle in Bad Mergentheim. Opening times are 10.30am to 5pm daily, closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Entry is €10 per adult and includes a useful English guide for non-German speakers provided at the front desk. Just return at the end of your visit before leaving the palace.
Several floors within the palace are dedicated to the Teutonic Order and its 800+ years of history, appropriate exhibited in this palace and complex which served as the Orders headquarter and general use for many centuries. In addition to the Teutonic Order Museum, ticket entry allows visitors access areas of the palace dedicated to ornately furnished State Rooms, the 18th-century Baroque castle church and Renaissance courtyard.
Collectively, we found this a nice way to spend an hour and half sightseeing around the Old Town in Bad Mergentheim.
