Hammam Experince as Birthday Gift

点评：I recently visited the Hürrem Sultan Hammamı and overall it was a wonderful experience. I had the Pir-u Pak package, which was actually a birthday gift from my friend.
The hammam itself is beautiful and the atmosphere is truly special. The kese and foam massage were excellent and very relaxing. I would also like to especially thank KEVSER (my practitioner), who was incredibly kind and thoughtful. When she found out it was my birthday, she even brought me a small cake, which was such a lovely gesture and made the experience feel even more special.
However, one part of the experience was uncomfortable. I wanted to take a few photos for my personal content, but I was told that photography is not allowed. What confused me is that there are many photos and videos from the hammam on TikTok and Instagram. When I mentioned this, I was told that those people were invited guests or had rented the hammam privately. OR, they might probably take photos secretly.
I respected the rule and put my phone away. But later, when my friend and I went to the restroom area (which was not part of the bathing area), a staff member followed us and waited nearby to check whether we were taking photos. That felt a bit unnecessary and uncomfortable.
I completely understand that every place has its own rules, but there were no visible signs anywhere indicating that photography is not allowed, and the feeling of being watched was not very pleasant.
Despite this moment, the overall hammam experience, the treatments, and the ambiance were excellent. I would still recommend it for the quality of the traditional hammam experience, but clearer communication of the rules and a more relaxed approach from some staff members would make the visit even better.
