Wonderful history enjoyed by horseback.
Historic Blakeley State Park的点评
点评：A group of us went to Blakeley for horseback riding. Staff is wonderful. Park well maintained for the most part. Some of the board walks/bridges need to have leaves and debris removed more often to help maintain their strength. It’s so nice that they have mounting steps across each bridge! Several areas of the park horses didn’t have access to that typically they do. The stalls are super nice. Really nice sized and sturdy, but the solid walls prevent air flow. (Go when it’s cool!) Hooks (2) for buckets in each stall. (Can’t use hook over buckets.) Water faucets convenient to each stall. Take your own hose as the park hoses are often cracked and leaking. Park has a wonderful and interesting history. It takes you back in time. Very safe and secure park. Very convenient to shopping, restaurants, hotels. The booking is a little confusing and it wasn’t just me who thought that. It’s also sad that if you rent a cabin, you also have to rent a horse camping slot in order to get stalls for your horses. More stalls should be built or make it first come first served. Would like to go back again when it’s cooler. Evidently there were several trails that we weren’t aware of that we would like to explore.
