Such a stunning time capsule and interesting Deadwood history
Adams House的点评
点评：This stunning Victorian era home sits a short walk up an including a short distance from the main downtown area.
We purchased guided tour tickets in the small building behind the house and gathered on the front porch for the tour start.
Our guide was well informed and shared the history in a very engaged manner.
This house was basically locked up as is for nearly 51 years before its journey to Museum status. Almost all the furnishings are original to the Adams family era of the home. The tour also gives appropriate history on the Franklin family who built the home before selling it to the Adams family. This is the same family of the elegant Franklin Hotel on Main Street.
We spent a little over an hour there including the guided tour and great conversations with staff and fellow tourists.
