Disappointing stay at Chessington
Chessington World of Adventures Resort的点评
点评：I recently booked a short break at Chessington for my daughter’s birthday, hoping for a fun time. Here’s what happened:
Arrival and Park Access:
We got to the park early, expecting to enjoy some popular rides, but many of them were closed. This meant we couldn’t skip the long queues, which was really disappointing.
Park Experience:
The park was okay and the rides worked fine, but it was messy. Bins were overflowing, and the wind blew empty bottles around, making it feel less enjoyable.
Hotel Check-In:
Getting our room key was easy, which was nice. However, the room needed updating and wasn’t very clean. It didn’t feel welcoming.
Dining at Temple Restaurant:
We booked a buffet dinner at the Temple restaurant for £70, which felt too expensive for the basic food we got. It was enough for two kids and one adult, but we expected better, I guess you get what you paying for.
Swimming Pool Experience:
After dinner, we went to the swimming pool, but the water was cloudy.🤮It was hard to see underwater, which was not what we expected for a family hotel.
Breakfast:
Breakfast was another letdown. There weren’t many choices, and the bacon, eggs, and sausages were overcooked. There were hardly any options for gluten-free or dairy-free diets, which was disappointing.
Overall Impression:
I spent almost £400 for one night and felt let down. The hotel was just average, with a poor breakfast and an okay dinner. I don’t think I would stay here again.
