点评：Travelling as two friends, our dhow trip to Magaruque Island was easily one of the most authentic and unforgettable experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped onto the traditional wooden dhow and sailed across the turquoise waters of the Bazaruto Archipelago, it felt like we had escaped into a true island paradise.
The crew were incredibly welcoming and made the whole day feel personal and relaxed rather than touristy. Sailing with the wind, surrounded by crystal-clear ocean and endless white sandbanks, was pure magic. The highlight of the trip was definitely lunch — fresh crayfish cooked over an open fire right on the boat. Watching it being prepared traditionally while anchored near the island made the experience feel so unique and authentic. The crayfish was perfectly cooked, incredibly fresh, and honestly one of the best meals we had in Mozambique.
Magaruque Island itself is stunning — untouched beaches, warm shallow water, and complete tranquility. We spent hours swimming, walking along the sandbanks, and simply enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. It truly felt like a 5-star experience, but with the charm and authenticity that no luxury resort can replicate.
