The flying boat exhibition was the highlight
索伦特天空博物馆的点评
点评：I admit I’m not into military aircraft and flying. My focus is commercial aircraft and flying.
The Solent sky museum combines both, but leans a little more to military. There are some superb aircraft in the collection including a spitfire. The flying boat though - for me - was the star of the show. To be able to board the aircraft was a great highlight. Then wandering upstairs we found the flying boat exhibition, with very informative information boards, maps etc.
one other highlight for me was the Schneider trophy exhibition. This is incredible history of man’s achievement to fly faster.
there is also an exhibition of Hampshire fire and rescue, which was being worked on whilst we were there.
There is a ‘drinks hut’ with an honesty box for payment.
There is a shop, with a huge amount of model kits and second hand books. Personally I was somewhat underwhelmed by the items available to purchase.

现场还有汉普郡消防与救援队的展览，我们在那里的时候他们仍在布展中。
另有一个“饮品小屋”，采用自助付款的方式，设有诚信付款箱。
还有一个商店，里面有大量的模型套件和二手书籍。不过就个人而言，我觉得可购买的物品种类略显单调，没能让我心动。
