Safari adventure that did not disappoint

点评：What an amazing day we had at Knowsley Safari Park on 1st September 2026 (2 adults and our 4 year old). The weather was perfect. Sunny but not too warm.
I was really nervous about visiting after reading some of the recent reviews, however, I'm glad we took them with a pinch of salt. Anyone who said they only saw deer and empty paddocks must have got incredibly unlucky.
Our Safari drive couldn't have been better. We saw rhinos, zebras, a variety of deer, wolves, lions, ostrich and bison to name a few.
We got super lucky in the baboon drive through too (obviously at our own risk). Not a single bit of damage to the car. We wondered if it was due to the car being white and it being sunny but they didn't seem to find our car appealing...can't say the same for the darker two cars in front.
We then parked up and moved onto the foot Safari and again, we weren't disappointed. The bird of prey show and the sea lion show were fab. Special mention to the lady leading the sea lion show, she was excellent. Definitely knew how to engage with an audience.
We went on a couple of rides and we didn't think they were badly priced, especially given adults were free when accompanying a paying child.
My only couple of improvements would be:
- the toilets (we went to a few) absolutely stank of wee. There were dirty mops which won't have been helping but they definitely need some bleaching.
- the staff in the shops, cafes and food stalls we came across were very miserable with no customer service skills. Such a shame when all the park/enclosure staff couldn't have been more friendly.
Overall, highly recommend a visit 😊

我们的自驾游体验无可挑剔。我们看到了犀牛、斑马、各式各样的鹿、狼以及狮子。比如鸵鸟和野牛，不胜枚举。
我们在“狒狒穿越区”也极其幸运（当然风险自负）。汽车丝毫未受损。我们猜测可能是因为车是白色的且当时阳光强烈，所以它们对我们的车不感兴趣……不过排在前面那两辆颜色较深的车可就没那么幸运了。
之后我们停好车，接着参加徒步游览。这一次我们同样没有失望。猛禽表演和海狮表演都棒极了。特别要提一下主持海狮表演的那位女士，她表现得非常出色。显然很懂得如何与观众互动。
我们玩了几个游乐项目，觉得价格也还算合理，尤其是成人陪同付费儿童入园时可以免费入园这一点。
我唯一觉得可以改进的地方有两点：
- 厕所（我们去了好几间）臭气熏天，全是尿味。有些脏兮兮的拖把显然也加剧了这种情况，确实需要好好用漂白剂清洁一下了。
- 商店里的工作人员。我们遇到的咖啡馆和食品摊贩状况糟糕透顶，完全不具备任何客户服务意识。实在可惜，因为公园/园区的工作人员都友善得不得了。
总的来说，强烈推荐大家去参观哦😊。
