Such a brilliant, unexpected day out!
British Motor Museum的点评
点评：We honestly didn’t know quite what to expect, but wow — the British Motor Museum completely won us over. The range of cars is incredible, all different ages and models, and the info alongside each one was genuinely fascinating rather than just a plaque you skim past. There were other bits and pieces dotted around too which added to it. And “Time Road” - what a lovely touch, right down to the road surface changing to match the era you’re walking through. Little details like that make all the difference.
There’s a Forza set-up on the mezzanine with five stations, which sounded like a lot of fun, but they were in constant use while we were there so we never got a go ourselves. Bit of a shame, but honestly it barely put a dent in what was otherwise a brilliant day. We still snapped a photo on the podium.
The staff were an absolute highlight - so friendly and clearly love what they do, always ready to chat and share a little snippet if you seemed interested. We didn’t do a guided tour ourselves but caught bits of a couple as we walked past and they sounded great.
A few practical bits: loads of parking, and the cafe’s lovely with plenty of seating and a good menu.
We ended up there for a good three hours and honestly could’ve stayed longer! Only tiny grumble - my husband’s got a nearly 30-year-old Peugeot 306 GTI and was a bit gutted there was no Peugeot keyring in the shop 🤣 (I did remind him it was the ‘British’ motor museum really!)
We got tickets online and ended up with the year pass, so we’ll definitely be back m and dragging a few more people along with us next time!

一些实用信息：停车场很充足；咖啡馆也很不错，座位众多且菜单丰富。
我们最终在那里待了整整三个小时，说实话，还能再待久一点呢！只有一个小遗憾——我丈夫有一辆车龄快30年的标致306 GTI，他有点失望的是店里没有标致品牌的钥匙链🤣（不过我也提醒他，这里其实是“英国”汽车博物馆啦！）
我们在网上买了票，最后还买了年票，所以下次我们肯定还会再来，而且还会带上更多人一起去！
