Be prepared to queue for EVERYTHING
吉百利巧克力世界的点评
点评：I visited in October 2026 with my husband and children aged 2 and 5. I would say our children were way too young and would advise it's suitable for children aged 8+, mainly because of all the queuing.
We had a time slot to gain entry to the tour, however unbeknownst to us that time slot was actually to join the queue. So we didn't actually get in for another 20 minutes after our time slot.
We were given 3 standard chocolate bars each on the way in which was a nice surprise, however the main problem was that they weren't ready just to hand out, the attendant had to unbox them. Also we were given the option of buying a bag at the entrance, which just slowed everything down. You would think they've been open enough years by now they would have a more streamlined way of handing out chocolate bars and selling bags. Perhaps having said chocolate already in bundles, and advising people earlier to have cash/card ready if you wanted to buy a bag. I think that would have reduced the waiting time.
Once we were past the entrance we had to wait in a holding room for 5 minutes, then we watched a short video. Then onto another video, this time slightly more interactive with shaking chairs. At this point my children were already getting bored so we were hoping for more activities. There was a 20 min queue to taste some melted chocolate which we bypassed, a 20 minute queue for the 4D cinema which we bypassed and a 30 minute queue for the ride at the end which we bypassed. So back to my earlier point of children aged 2 and 5 were way too young to be expected to queue for that amount of time.
We didn't actually get to experience many of the attractions as it was just too long to wait for my toddler, and yes that was our choice but we expected more self guided interactivity.
Overall the experience was boring and disappointing.

进入入口后，我们必须在等候室里等5分钟，然后观看一段简短的视频。接着又播放了另一段视频，这次互动性稍强一些，椅子还会晃动。这时我的孩子们已经开始觉得无聊了，所以我们期望能有更多活动。还有一条20分钟长的队伍在等着品尝融化的巧克力，但我们绕过了那条队伍。4D影院那里有20分钟的排队队伍，我们选择了跳过；最后那个游乐项目也有30分钟的排队时间，我们同样跳过了。这再次印证了我之前的观点：2岁和5岁的孩子根本不可能耐心排那么长时间的队。
实际上我们也没能体验多少游乐项目，因为对我的幼儿来说等待时间实在太长了。没错，这是我们自己的选择，但我们原本期望能有更多无需引导就能参与的互动项目。
