The Ark Open Farm的点评
点评：I cannot recommend highly enough! We have just had the most wonderful of days at The Ark Open Farm.
We ended up stumbling across The Ark accidentally as we were originally due to visit Belfast Zoo but it was closed unexpectedly.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by warm and friendly staff that were very happy to help.
We were super impressed by the variety of animals and the wide range of activities on offer.
There are two jumping pillows, which is great as one is specifically designated for younger children and my 5 year old son loved it. Unlike some places, the kids aren’t allowed to run riot or ‘hog’ the activities. There were staff ensuring that safe and manageable numbers were on the jumping pillows at all times. They also ensured that everyone got a turn and set time limits for each batch of children.
There were a number of parks throughout and they catered for kids of all ages, young and old.
The tractor ride to the dino/fairy forest is free and got a huge thumbs up from my son. The driver of the tractor (Belinda I think) was fantastic and is a real credit to the farm. She was happy, engaging and cheerful. If anyone at The Ark reads this- please do pass on our feedback to her as she brightened our day!
Despite being busy, the farm was clean and we were really impressed that the numerous hand washing stations never seemed to run of hand towels or soap. They were also clean and clearly benefitted from regular spot checks.
Although we bought 3 bags of animal feed and 3 bags of bird feed, we actually ran out half way round. We underestimated how many animals there are on the farm! The deer down beside the dino forest are gorgeous so if you visit, try to save some food for them!
The animals look very well looked after, and their enclosures were clean and comfortable.
There was a foam party however we didn’t have a change of clothes for my son and so didn’t attend, but it looked like a lot of fun!
We brought a picnic and there were lots of spots to sit and eat. I noticed that there were also some sheltered areas meaning that you could still bring food even if the weather wasn’t great.
All in all we loved The Ark Open Farm and we will definitely return. The facilities are fantastic, it’s great value for money and my son adored the animals. It’s easy to spend an entire day there! Clearly the owners and staff take pride in the farm and that’s reflected in how well maintained it is. Keep up the great work!
