点评：After spending a week in Birdsville at the Cup, it was such a pleasant way to finish our time in Birdsville on a tour with the knowledgeable and passionate local Alex. He was able to share and enlighten us with so much local history and knowledge before making our way out to “big red”.
Once at the truely beautiful lookout of Big Red we had the opportunity to go down the bottom and Alex conquered the sand dunes with confidence and the experience and we felt safe at all times.
After conquering the dunes and having the watching crowds cheer as we arrived at the top it was time to enjoy cool drinks and nibbles on comfy chairs provided by Alex.

Also we have to mention, earlier in the day we were having some issues with our Solar Panel at went to the local roadhouse for assistance. Not only is Alex a super tour guide but he’s also a mechanical expert !!
