点评：Whilst the Atlantic beaches in Gironde are exceptional and the stretch along the coast at Lacanau is fabulous, visiting with my dog is difficult. I would very much appreciate the hours that the beach is accessible to dogs clearly displayed at Lacanau-Océan as I saw some people taking their dogs there whilst I was eating dinner after a beach visit at a pizzeria below the dunes - I only saw a sign banning dogs, even on leads. Some beaches allow dogs outwith busy beach times in low season, and there are a few where you can take a dog on a leash throughout the day. I noticed this was the case on some of the naturist beaches. My pup likes nothing more than a beach visit so if you have a dog, make sure you check where and when your dog is allowed onto a beach. PS he loves a good sunset too, just like us humans! ;)
