点评：During our visit to york a big must do on our list was to visit York Minster. Upon arriving we were greeted with some friendly staff who gave us advice on things to do and see on our visit. We chose not to do a guided tour so can't give an opinion there but just walking around such a beautiful building took our breaths away. There is so much to see and take in from stain glass windows to the many memorials that seemed to be everywhere. Just looking up at the amazing ceiling made you dizzy so it was nice to see the odd mirrored table to look into for a good look at what was achieved so many years ago. A must see is a trip to the Crypt not only does it show the resting place of Saint William of york but also tells the ongoing story of the restoration work that has been and is still going on. Truly amazing with what has been achieved. Over all it is well worth the money and time just taking in the rich history of York Minster
