Mother Shipton's Cave的点评
点评：By far, one of my favourite days out! Mother Shiptons is nothing short of magical! We paid just over £30 for admission which covered us for a full car (up to 5 people).
On arrival, we were greeted at the gate by a lovely lady who showed us where to park and gave us all of the information we needed for our visit.
We spent around two and a half hours there and it was perfect. There was a 'Wicked' theme set up near the picnic spot, which was beautifully set up and displayed, great for both kids and adults and ample photo opportunities! There are big picnic style wooden huts laid out in the area, with a kiosk that sells hot and cold drinks, bakes, hot food and black ice cream (alongside others).
The lady in the kiosk was a delight to talk to. Very friendly.
Further along, we witnessed the petrifying well, wishing well and Mother Shiptons cave. Which (without giving away too much) are the best part of the trip. Photos online dont do it justice. The atmosphere changes down there. Its like real magic!
The museum and gift shop are marvellous too.
And its definitely worth buying a guide book! There are stories written all along the walk, but the guide book holds even more!
10/10 for families, couples, and you can even take your dogs too!
