点评：I am a disabled person in her seventies and wondered if I would manage the trip. My mobility is very limited. I should not have worried. Bernardino made everything possible and so easy. The seat was so comfortable and the adventure was out of this world. The trip has really helped me with my confidence in traveling alone. So what’s next! The trip was stunning. Bernardino is a very safe and knowledgeable driver and guide. We saw so many wonderful sights and his insight on the flora, fauna, geology and history of the island is fantastic and fascinating. We stopped very frequently with good long periods of time given for the passengers to get out and explore in a relaxed manner. I couldn’t get out because of my disability and so Bernardino always made sure I could see what everyone else was seeing from the comfort of the front seat. I didn’t feel I missed anything and I should say I was the only English person in the party but Bernardino gave a full description of everything in Portuguese and English. He even made it possible for me to join in the lunch stop and exit and get back into the vehicle without any issues. I have to say he was not only knowledgeable and friendly but very intuitive of each of his guests needs at all times without them even having to ask. The trip was so full of surprises and fun. I felt sorry for folks on the city bus tour as we passed them, stuck on tarmac roads while we were having the adventure of a lifetime. Going where no bus can go and seeing the topography of Porto Santo in all it’s beauty. The trip and memories didn’t end at the end of the day as Bernardino very generously shared with us lots of different websites to continue looking and learning about this beautiful island.
