Fantastic box experience and brilliant service – you really are close to the action!

点评：We visited Perth Racecourse for the Stone of Destiny raceday and had a private box overlooking the course.
The location of the box was fantastic. We were right by the finish line and had our own outdoor enclosure, which meant you could get incredibly close to the action. We were able to watch the horses parade past before heading out to race, which was probably one of my favourite parts of the day.
The outdoor area had several picnic-style benches as well as large concrete steps which gave you an elevated view of the course. The box also had its own private toilets, which was really convenient.
The biggest positive, though, was the service. The staff looking after us were fantastic – attentive without being overbearing, really quick with drinks orders and always around when you needed anything. Considering we were a fairly large group, everything ran very smoothly.
One thing worth mentioning is that there was no air conditioning in the box, so it did get quite warm. Thankfully the doors opened directly onto our outside area, so having those open allowed a decent breeze through.
The food was probably the weakest part of the experience. It was perfectly okay and there was plenty to keep us going throughout the afternoon, but some of the dishes lacked flavour and the cheeseboard looked a little worse for wear by the time we got to it. It did, however, fill a gap between the beers!
Overall, we had a brilliant day. The service and location of the box were excellent and being so close to the horses and the finish line made the experience feel really special.
I would absolutely return to Perth Racecourse for another raceday.

食物或许是整个体验中最糟糕的部分。它还算可以，分量也足以让我们撑过整个下午，但有些菜肴缺乏风味；当我们享用奶酪拼盘时，发现它看起来也有些不太新鲜了。不过，它确实……来填补喝啤酒时的空白时刻吧！
总的来说，我们度过了非常愉快的一天。包厢的服务和位置都无可挑剔，而且离赛马和终点线如此之近，让这次体验显得格外特别。
