Excellent Golf & Outstanding Lodging—Just Plan Dinner Elsewhere!

点评：The golf course was in fantastic shape. It offers a challenging layout, but it plays very fair—great conditions overall and a pleasure to play.
Accommodation (Palmer House):
We stayed on-property in the Palmer House, and we were thoroughly impressed! Our two-bedroom condo was exceptionally clean, spacious, and extremely well-equipped. In hindsight, we wished we had known more about the condo amenities ahead of time—we definitely would have brought steaks to grill out for dinner on-site.
Dining / Food & Beverage:
The only real letdown of our stay was the course restaurant. We walked into the grill area 30 minutes prior to their posted closing time and waited 10 minutes before an employee even appeared, only to be informed that the grill was already shut down for cleaning.
Verdict:
A top-tier golf and lodging experience that we highly recommend—just be sure to pack your own food to grill or make dinner arrangements off-property to avoid dining disappointment! Closest restaurants were in Newark, OH 15-20 minutes west.
