点评：There are winery tours… and then there is Schramsberg Vineyards.
From the moment we arrived, we were gently (and quite willingly) absorbed into Jeff’s world—a place where history, humor, and impeccable sparkling wine coexist in perfect balance. The property itself feels like stepping into a living postcard: original 1800s buildings with exquisite woodwork, immaculately kept gardens, and a welcoming committee in the form of two charming resident cats, Lola and Louis, who seem to understand they are part of something special.
Jeff guided us through the cellars with the confidence of someone who not only knows his craft, but thoroughly enjoys sharing it. His explanations of the sparkling wine process were equal parts enlightening and entertaining—his wit as dry and refined as the brut we were sipping. Somehow, he made riddling racks and fermentation feel like characters in a story rather than steps in a process.
And just when you think it couldn’t get more atmospheric, the tour concludes with a candlelit tasting in the cellar—equal parts intimate, elegant, and quietly magical.
