Beautiful HUGE Waterfall!
Burgess Falls State Park的点评
点评：This park was free entry. I would recommend getting there early as parking fills up quickly. There are 2 separate walkways to the main Burgess Falls. You can follow the road and park at the main Burgess falls if you don’t feel like walking. There is also a hiking area you can follow that is closer to the edge of the river to see all of the falls. Both the hiking trail and the road were steep at certain points. The road had a bench for those that need to take a rest at the top of the steepest point.
We spent 2-3 hours here. The experience was awesome seeing the falls and how HUGE Burgess falls is. The people at the bottom looked so tiny compared to the size of the falls! There was no trail to get to the bottom of the falls, and my family weren’t sure how people were able to get down there.
The bathrooms were clean and they had many shaded bench/picnic areas as well as a playground for the kids to play at. There was no staff there that we saw.
