点评:Paid for two nights, stayed for one. We kayaked out to the Big Island, which my husband and I dubbed “Goose island”. Fun fact, this is a Canadian goose nesting sight and there we are least a dozen mated pairs honking constantly, well into the night. However, they were much more kind and less defensive than the local fishermen who came right up to our sight, flashing their lights into our tent after 10 pm. When we kindly informed them that we were camping there, the geese and us formed mutual respect for one another, the fishermen on the other hand… acted like we were trying to take away their constitutional rights. One thing all parties did agree on was how funny the pile of washed up crocs found on the beach looked. Little did they know, we cleaned up a lot of trash in the camping area before we started our stay. Though the island would have otherwise been beautiful, for $80, this is an experience we won’t be back for. Please bring a trash bag if you’re around the park and help clean up after the humans that spoil the beauty.
