Excellent centre that clearly cares about the animals
贝纳尔马德纳蝴蝶公园的点评
点评：My partner and I went to the butterfly park on a free day thinking it would just be a fun quick outing but it really exceeded our expectations. The place is much bigger than I thought, we spent over 2 hours exploring and taking in all the different species.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Irene, I think their name was, especially was so knowledgeable and answered all the questions we asked. When I didn’t have the Spanish for what I wanted to ask, Irene was able to speak perfectly in English.
What impressed us most was how clear it is that Monowa are dedicated to providing the best possible environment for conservation. I was a little surprised at the €15.50 entry per adult but after seeing the facilities and the care that the staff give to the butterflies, it makes sense. It’s obvious that this isn’t an exploitative place and I’d say the entry fee is definitely worth it.
The information provided about conservation and seeing the lovely environment created at Monowa has really inspired me. I’m quite a keen gardener already but this has given me motivation to do some more research and make sure I’m providing a good setup for butterflies.
