点评：The theatre was lovely and clean , very spacious, the staff friendly.
We came to see Chitty Bang Bang, unfortunately the children didn’t enjoy it and we left at the interval. It was like watching a school production, no stand out characters. I am sure their family’s thoroughly enjoyed their children’s performances. I am all for encouraging young talent, and go to many armature productions, they do need to make sure that they turn up for rehearsals, this was very evident, as quite a few forgot their lines. The singers and musicians needed to be a bit tighter and well rehearsed as their is some good talented musicians in the making, sometimes you couldn’t hear them, they came into late, forgot the words, a lot of microphone interference. Maybe a good rehearsal before the main show was needed here to check equipment. I think £10 per adult and £5 per child would have been a more acceptable fee.
