Too many petty and ridiculous rules for the slides

点评：As many have noted, there are far too many silly rules which we have never encountered at any waterpark we’ve been to. My 11 year old carried a fair size inflatable with her all the way up to one of the big slides, all to be told by the attendant at the top that she couldn’t go on because of 2 small studded earrings. She had all her hopes and excitement dashed by petty ridiculous rules. Many others were rejected and sent back down too because of jewellery. In addition - hats, eye wear like goggles, swimming bathers with zippers were also disallowed to mention a few.
For one of the slides in the Monkey Island park (all ages), I was too rejected because of a small 10mm rivet ring on my swimming shorts. I was gobsmacked. So I went on another slide with a different attendant and covered the rivet ring with my swimming top. How ridiculous. It is a fun park but the fun police were there to dampen the mood and excitement for some who a re unaware.
