City Winery的点评
点评：We held our daughter's wedding at this venue. For the most part everything went smoothly. Our event coordinator, Lerica, was professional, easy to work with and very responsive to our questions and concerns. The staff member assigned to the bride and groom for the evening, Jaelynn, was absolutely incredible and anticipated their every need. There were, however, some menu glitches. The bride and groom are both gluten free and the bride is vegan so they ordered some items at cocktail hour to be gluten free and vegan. The biggest disappointment was vegan polenta bites -- which City Winery's kitchen made with cheese ... so the bride could not eat them. They were one of the few vegan items she would have been able to eat. She was also told that the vegetarian option for dinner would be asparagus/fava bean risotto -- information we shared with many guests who are vegetarian or vegan -- and it was zucchini risotto. Zucchini is not the bride's favorite vegetable. I'm not sure if it's anyone's favorite vegetable. These complaints do not sound like a big deal until you see the prices of the food for an event. For the prices they charge, all food should have been exactly as ordered.
Also, the bride and her bridesmaids stayed at the venue's overnight apartment called The Nest. Everything there was fantastic. But we thought it was quite odd that City Winery's management could not recommend a local establishment to deliver coffee or breakfast sandwiches to the girls for breakfast the day of the wedding. We understand that City Winery's kitchen does not offer food until lunch time, but they could not even suggest a local place. We did find a great little coffee shop called Java Blue on Union Street in Montgomery, but we needed to pick up because they do not deliver.
