Inadequate alternative travel arrangements were provided, only 2 buses for the whole train. Many passengers were made to stand in a cramped bus for over an hour despite paying a sum for the supposed first class service.
The more accurate term would probably be “premium economy” to describe first class, with excellence class being the only true first class.
While it was understandable that due to an unforeseen circumstance, the train service had to stop, the quality of service recovery was poor as there were insufficient seats for all passengers. Given the circumstances we were made to endure, I must say it was an overall poor experience that was not reflective of first class service.
Prior to this, the Overall train service was good but do note the WIFI does not work for phone numbers outside of Europe as they will need to send an SMS for verification. So you will need your own mobile service if you wish to connect to the internet.
