Disappointing experience despite punctuality

点评：Unfortunately, my experience with Eressian Taxi was very disappointing, despite the fact that the service was punctual.
First of all, during my second journey, I explicitly asked the driver to drive slowly from Skala Eressos to Mytilene because I suffer from motion sickness. During the previous journey I had actually vomited because of the driving, and despite this, I had left the previous driver a generous tip because I appreciated his patience and friendliness.
On the second journey, I had also taken anti-nausea supplements, so I did not have any problems. However, despite my explicit request to drive slowly, the driver did not respect it. At first he drove carefully, but after about 45 minutes he started driving very fast again. This was particularly disappointing given that I had clearly explained my condition and specifically asked him to take it easy.
But the biggest problem came with the price.
I had an agreement with the owner of the company for a €200 round trip from Mytilene Airport to Skala Eressos and back. In the meantime, the final destination was changed from Mytilene Airport to Mythical Coast Wellness Retreat, which is only about 2 km from the airport. This change had already been communicated via WhatsApp before the journey.
During the trip, the driver stopped at the airport to pick up two additional passengers. As a result, for the final 2 km from the airport to the hotel, my partner had to sit in the back with these two additional passengers, with very little space. It was extremely uncomfortable and felt cramped and suffocating.
When we arrived at the hotel, we were suddenly asked to pay €120. I was shocked and immediately explained that this was not what had been agreed. However, we were ultimately pressured into paying, and we were told that the additional €20 was because the final destination was the hotel rather than the airport — despite the fact that the change of destination had been communicated in advance.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that nobody informed us beforehand that there would be an additional €20 charge. If there had been a clear explanation in advance, we could have discussed and agreed to it. Instead, we were only told about the extra charge upon arrival, when we had no practical alternative.
Considering that the additional 2 km were the very last part of the journey, during which my partner was already uncomfortable because of the two extra passengers in the back, the situation was even more disappointing.
I feel extremely let down and, frankly, very angry about the way this was handled. In my opinion, charging an additional amount without informing the customer beforehand is not acceptable, especially when the price had already been agreed and the change of destination had been communicated in advance.
I cannot recommend this company based on my experience. If you are a tourist using this service, I strongly recommend confirming the total price in writing beforehand and making sure that any additional charges are clearly agreed upon before the journey.
