I visited Murchison Falls National Park in March 2026 with my great long-time friends and brothers from Germany, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
We stayed at Red Chilli Rest Camp inside the park, which gave us a real close-to-nature safari experience and easy access to wildlife activities. It was simple, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the park.
The highlight was the powerful hike to the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge with incredible force. The boat cruise along the Nile was also amazing, with close views of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and many birds along the riverbanks.
The game drives were very rewarding, with sightings of giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, and even lions in their natural habitat. Everything was well organized, safe, and smooth throughout the trip.
Sharing this experience with close friends made it even more meaningful. It was not just a safari, but a deep and memorable adventure in Uganda’s wilderness.
I highly recommend Murchison Falls National Park to anyone visiting Uganda.
