点评：This was our first time at Donnington & Co. but it won't be our last. From check-in to check-out, every possible detail was attended to in this elegant, welcoming property. We arrived in the middle of a record-breaking heat wave understanding that most of the UK does not have air conditioning (why would they?). We were blessedly, blissfully, gloriously surprised to find our spacious, scrupulously clean, well-appointed room as cool as an icebox! What's more, it remained that way for the duration of "Dante's Inferno". This is all thanks to Katie, a competent, friendly, helpful, professional (and beautiful) young woman at the front desk who assured us we'd be kept cool, and we certainly were. Also, after a virtually sleepless night on the plane from the States to LHR, we arrived at Donnington & Co. at 10:15am and we were hot and beyond exhausted. Check-in is 3pm. The marvelous Katie waved her magic wand and we were in a room by 11am. Did I mention that I'm recovering from three surgeries in nine months and require a walk-in shower? Katie was even able to arrange that, and on the first/ground floor for easy wheelchair navigation. and provided a lovely little patio and chairs. The bed and linens were extremely comfortable, the hotel was very quiet (and we know there was a wedding there that weekend and a dog across the hall), room service was prompt and provided a wide variety of selections, staff was friendly and helpful, there is free WiFi and plenty of free parking. We truly enjoyed ourselves at Donnington & Co.
翻译：这是我们第一次入住唐宁顿酒店，但绝不会是最后一次。从入住到退房，这家优雅温馨的酒店事无巨细，面面俱到。我们抵达时正值破纪录的热浪，也知道英国大部分地区都没有空调（毕竟谁会装呢？）。然而，我们惊喜地发现，宽敞、一尘不染、设施齐全的房间竟然凉爽得像个冰窖！更棒的是，即使在“但丁的《神曲》”上映期间，房间也一直保持着这样的凉爽。这一切都要感谢前台的凯蒂，一位能干、友好、乐于助人、专业（而且漂亮）的年轻女士，她向我们保证房间会很凉爽，而我们也确实做到了。此外，从美国飞往伦敦希思罗机场的飞机上，我们几乎一夜未眠，早上10点15分抵达唐宁顿酒店时，又热又累。入住时间是下午3点。神奇的凯蒂挥动了她的魔法棒，我们上午11点就住进了房间。我之前提到过我九个月内做了三次手术，需要淋浴间吗？凯蒂甚至还帮我安排好了，而且淋浴间在一楼，方便轮椅通行。她还提供了一个漂亮的小露台和椅子。床和床单都非常舒适，酒店也很安静（我们知道那个周末酒店里有一场婚礼，而且走廊对面还住着一只狗），客房服务快捷周到，选择丰富，员工热情友好，酒店还提供免费WiFi和充足的免费停车位。我们在唐宁顿酒店度过了非常愉快的时光。
