点评：I loved every minute of my visit! While some parts, like the human chain to get the luggage on and off the boat at both ends and one of the cliff walks, were a bit strenuous, they were all part of the unique experience. The wardens and all the staff are absolutely delightful - full of energy and knowledge that they eagerly share. Witnessing the countless hours of work they put into caring for the island's wildlife was truly impressive. They also genuinely care about their guests, regularly checking to ensure we were doing well.
My room was very comfortable. There was plenty of hot water (most of the time), the compost loos were fine. The kitchen is well-equipped, there is a charming little library, and the evening log was both fun and fascinating, even though I personally didn't have much to contribute, as I spent more time drawing than birdwatching.
This visit was an unforgettable adventure, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable and enriching getaway.
