点评:A wonderful place to spend a peaceful morning in Bern. I easily spent over an hour wandering through the gardens and greenhouses, and I probably could have stayed even longer. There is an impressive variety of plants from around the world, and if you’re interested in botany or simply enjoy quiet walks, this is a fantastic stop.
One of my favorite parts was seeing the mandrakes (Mandragora) and reading about the legends surrounding them. As a Harry Potter fan, that was an especially fun surprise! I also loved the sunflower displays, which reminded me of my recent visit to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam.
One thing I wish the garden would improve is the accessibility of the exhibits. Many of the information boards are only in German, so having English translations would make the experience much more enjoyable for international visitors.
A small tip: the garden opens at 8:00 a.m. every day, making it a perfect first stop before the city gets busy. Also, if you’re using Google Maps to navigate inside the botanical garden, be aware that it sometimes suggests paths that are actually closed off. It’s not a major issue, but don’t be surprised if you have to backtrack occasionally.
Overall, it’s a beautiful, relaxing attraction that’s completely worth visiting.
Also, it’s free to enter - there is no entrance fee.
There are some cafes on campus and close to the garden.

我希望花园能改进的一点就是展品的 Accessibility(易访问性)。
