Charming Old Town of Zurich
老城（阿尔斯塔特）的点评
点评：Old Town is situated on both sides of the Limmat River in Zurich. It features numerous history dating back to the Roman times and a hive of winding Medieval streets and lines filled with attractive Swiss buildings of various architecture, historic guild houses, historic churches, numerous decorative fountains and other interesting things to see.
There are many restaurants, coffee shops, retail and souvenir shops, little squares, riverside walking space as well as a hilltop at Lindenhof where you can enjoy green space along with lovely views of the river and east bank of Old Town.
We enjoyed a day sightseeing around Old Town, having arrived in Zurich by train in the morning and walking by foot around this historic part of the city. Spent around 6 hours sightseeing, having lunch and afternoon coffee before returning to the station to make way to the airport. Given the proximity to the airport, Zurich Old Town seems like a convenient place to visit for those with time to kill before outbound flights from ZRH. Or if time allows, spending a night or two around Old Town seems like an even better option if you want to visit more leisurely.
