Rude staff, uncomfortable experience
Museo Dell'Opera Del Duomo的点评
点评：Headed here to grab something to eat and use the bathroom in Caffè Tuscania upstairs. We weren’t greeted at the door or allocated a seat so we thought we could sit anywhere, other than the reserved tables of course. We received judgemental looks from the staff upon doing so, but were told it was okay after apologising for the misunderstanding.
We picked what we wanted off the menu, and I went to use the toilet whilst the person I was with ordered, but I was refused entry to the toilet until we had shown proof of a receipt, as if I was going to use the toilet and flee without purchasing anything. I was again met with judgemental looks.
Staff appeared bewildered at how little we were ordering, but as prices were extortionate (€7 for one little pot of tea) we decided to split things between us, and again, received judgemental looks. There is also a hidden fee of €2.50 per person to sit in the Caffè which is only made aware to you if you read the menus fine print.
When I presented staff with proof of my receipt so I could use the bathroom, I got told to go to the bar man, but no one was around, so I asked for the direction of the toilet, and very rudely got told “DOWNSTAIRS!”
The toilet situation itself was also very uncomfortable. The door uses an automatic locking system, so that people who aren’t customers cannot use it without a purchase. There was no lock on the inside, and staff have to open it from the outside to let you in. I could feel people trying to open the door whilst I was using the facilities, and the bar man didn’t see me enter the bathroom as the previous user held the door open for me to go inside. Meaning, if someone presented the bar man with their receipt, he could have opened the door whilst I was on the loo.
Staff also muttered under their breaths to each other every time they looked at our table, making the whole situation just very uncomfortable.
I would not come here again.

洗手间的使用体验也极其糟糕。门上装有自动锁系统，因此非顾客在未消费的情况下根本无法进入。门内侧没有锁，工作人员必须从外面开门才能让我进去。我在使用洗手间时能感觉到有人试图开门；由于前一位使用者帮我把门撑开，酒保并没有看到我进入。也就是说，如果有人向酒保出示收据，他完全有可能在我如厕时把门打开。
每次看到我们的桌子时，工作人员还会低声互相嘀咕着什么。这让整个情况变得非常尴尬/不自在。
我不会再来这里了。
