点评：I’ve been all over the world and very rarely go somewhere that I just did not like.
The whole town had a heavy, stagnant feeling and what I can only describe as bad vibes.
The hotel especially was rough and dilapidated. We stayed in a cabin that was actually someone’s home until they passed. The back door didn’t close, let alone lock. I would never stay there alone, but I was with my family.
The room was clean enough, but certainly not to normal hotel standards. Soap scum, streaks on the mirrors, not awful, but not clean either.
The springs on the other hand, seemed questionable. Firstly, the scenery is not very nice. Chain link fence, weeds, dry dead grass, and concrete. The water is murky and smells worse than other springs I’ve visited. Usual egg smell but with a tinge of sewage. I hope that is just a particularly strong mineral content. I did soak for a little while, and I would say that the benefits out weighed the negatives. Especially the hottest spring 107 degrees, really did wonders for my sore muscles and joints.
The bathroom inside the hotel lobby was so bad I couldn’t go in. It smelled horrible. The sulfur water smell combined with something even worse I can only guess about. It was interesting to pass what looked like original clawfoot bathtubs separated by partitions and curtains, where back in the day you could soak in a tub fed by the spring. The historic remnants were interesting for sure. I think originally it must be turn of the century, with some remodeling in the late 59s or early 60s. Definitely a blast from the last.
That all being said, everyone there was so kind and helpful, I believe they are doing the best they can with limited resources.

至于温泉，则让人有些疑虑。首先，周围环境不怎么样：铁丝网围栏、杂草、干枯的草丛以及水泥地。泉水浑浊不堪，气味也比我去过的其他温泉要难闻得多。有那种典型的“蛋臭味”，还带点污水的味道。希望这只是因为水中矿物质含量特别高导致的罢了。我还是泡了一会儿，总体来说，好处似乎还是多于坏处的。尤其是那温度高达107度的热泉水，真的对我酸痛的肌肉和关节有奇效。
酒店大堂里的浴室状况糟糕到让我根本不敢进去——气味极其难闻。那是硫磺水的味道，还夹杂着某种更糟糕的气味，具体是什么我就只能猜测了。路过那些看起来像是最初的足桶浴缸时也挺有意思的：这些浴缸被隔板和帘子分隔开来，过去人们就是在这里享受由温泉水注满的泡澡体验。这些历史遗迹确实很有意思。我认为它最初应该是世纪之交时建造的，后在59年末或60年代初做过一些翻修。绝对带有上个时代的风格。
话虽如此，那里的每个人都非常友善且乐于助人，我相信他们在资源有限的情况下已经尽最大努力了。
