点评:We did this off season and it was still busy. Tickets were online a week in advance. We took the 10:30 train up and 5:00 train back. The only other option for a return was 2:00 and while 5:00 gave us more time than we needed, 2:00 would have been too short. The train up is an hour and had great scenery to view (it’s February so the almond trees that were plentiful were in bloom). Once in Soller you transfer to a tram (buy the combined ticket) and then another 30 minutes down to the port and beaches. We walked around down there for a couple of hours and had a seaside lunch. Back up to Soller and there isn’t much to do while waiting for the train unless you want to go hiking (probably not enough time) so we opted for a cafe and people watching.
The train itself is truly historic and you feel like you’re being taken back in time. The seats are a bit small but it’s only an hour. We ended up on a car with a bunch of people who had clearly been drinking all afternoon and were quite loud and disruptive, but chest la vie, it’s vacation.
