Weikersheimer Historische Altstadt的点评
点评：The Old Town of Weikersheim is one of the well preserved medieval towns along the Romantic Route. It makes for a nice 1/2 day stop for those doing the self-drive and planning stops between Wurzburg and Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
We spent a couple of hours here during an afternoon stop recently and enjoyed seeing the attractions around Marktplatz as well as the Castle Garden grounds. Enjoyed a coffee and cake stop at one of the cafes at Marktplatz as well. On the whole, Altstadt in Weikersheim is a quieter and more leisurely experience compared to places like nearby Rothenburg.
We found free parking just outside the Old Town at Parkplatz „Heiliges Wöhr“ just a few minutes walk to the entrance through the old city wall, a convenient location for those making self-drive visits.
