The Tenement House的点评
点评：When I was doing my research on Glasgow, I came across this museum, which definitely peaked my interest as I have visited the tenement museum in New York City. I thought it would be interesting to see the difference between America and the United Kingdom in this regard. I went near the end of the day and there were only a few other people there. It cost 10 pounds to enter or 11 if you want to give a donation to the national trust. The young woman at the register was very informative, and I enjoyed the informational exhibits on the ground floor. On the first floor, they have a completely done apartment, which allows you to see what it was like to live in the tenement during its heyday. The staff upstairs was just as helpful as the lady at the register. I will note that this is a middle class tenement versus the lower class ones I saw in New York City. Great insight into Glasgow life 100 years ago.
