I just got back from hiking Mulanje Mountain with guide *Victor Phiri (+265 984 531 844)* and I can't recommend him enough!
Victor made the entire experience safe, fun, and deeply memorable. His knowledge of the trails, plants, and local history added so much to the hike. He paced us perfectly, checked on us constantly, and his encouragement got me to the summit when I thought I couldn't go further.
What stood out most:
- *Safety first*: Victor is experienced, prepared, and knows Mulanje like the back of his hand
- *Local insight*: He shared stories about the culture and pointed out things I would have completely missed
- *Great attitude*: Positive, patient, and genuinely cares about his clients having a good time
If you're planning to climb Mulanje, ask for Victor. The mountain is amazing, but having Victor as our guide made it truly special. Thank you Victor!
