点评：Beautiful house and gardens but sadly let down by the catering in the Orangerie. A very limited and simple menu so you would expect they would be on top of it but no. After waiting 40 minutes I had to chase up our meals which suddenly started appearing in a random and disorderly fashion. My granddaughters pizza was baked so hard you could break a plate with it and we had to send it back. My daughter's Sweet Potato chips were over cooked and almost black. My expensive soup was delivered without any bread and when chased up they appeared not with a nice artisan bread roll but a supermarket soft white roll still steaming from coming out of the microwave. My main course of Salmon terrine was not properly defrosted and served up with three tiny slices of brown bread one of which had obviously been exposed for some time as it was so dry it could pass for toast. The final nail was the chilled water from a pretty clear barrel on the counter. It was cold but had a distinct musty taste as though it had come a drain. All in all it put a damper on what would otherwise have been a great day.
