点评：Old Town refers to the medieval part of Edinburgh south of Princes Street Gardens and Waverley Railway Station. Sightseeing starts with Castle Rock, Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile.
You will find winding streets with charming preserved architecture, narrow history alleyways and points of interest like Real Mary King's Close. Other important sightseeing such as St. Giles Cathedral and Greyfriars Church, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and the National History Museum.
There are lovely squares like Grassmarket, hillside walkways like Vennel pathway with panoramic views and quite a few historic pubs, scattered monuments, loads of souvenir and interesting boutique shops alongside casual eateries, coffee shops and hotels. It is a fun place to spend a couple days visiting and sightseeing while in Edinburgh.
