点评：My son and husband are avid readers, so when we realised we were staying near Tintagel, visiting this legendary setting associated with King Arthur was an easy decision.
It was a short walk from the car park to the ticket office, and the weather was perfect for exploring. We loved the views and learning about the castle’s history.
The winding steps led us to even more spectacular views of the Cornish coastline and surrounding landscape. The breathtaking scenery made it easy to see why Tintagel has inspired so many stories and legends.
Although there is a café on site, we brought a packed lunch, which was followed by an l ice cream and hit chocolate treat.
Tintagel combines history, mythology and stunning coastal views, making it a memorable visit that we would happily recommend to anyone visiting Cornwall.
