Excellent food and service, but seating arrangements affected the experience

点评：We had a very good evening at Isla de Lobos. The food was excellent — the suckling pig was a standout dish — and the sommelier provided genuinely impressive service. The oysters were perhaps a little overwhelmed by the amount of foam, but the flavours were still strong and well executed.
The only real disappointment was the seating arrangement. As a couple, we were placed directly beside a large family group with very loud children, which made it difficult to enjoy what would otherwise have been a relaxed, intimate dinner. There were quieter tables available at the far end of the balcony, but these were reserved exclusively for parties of four, leaving no suitable option for couples seeking a calmer setting.
It’s a shame, because with different table planning this would easily have been a 5‑star experience. As it stands, the food and service were excellent, but the ambience didn’t quite match them.
